Motor Yacht Chico is a trading name of Angus Geddes. We hold public liability insurance to £3M in respect of damage or injury to third parties. Please note, however, that we cannot be held liable for damage to yourself or your property, expense, injury, loss, financial or otherwise, delay or cancellation arising from factors beyond our control. It is your responsibility to be at the nominated departure point for your cruise at the agreed time. Likewise it is our responsibility to be there to welcome you on board. In the event that you have to take overnight accommodation we will refund the cost of your cruise pro rata for the cruise night(s) missed.
A booking is confirmed on receipt of a deposit of 5% of the cruise cost. This payment constitutes a booking fee and is non refundable. On receipt of your deposit we will acknowledge your payment. The booking form will state the latest payment date for the balance of the cruise cost, 14 days before the start of your cruise. In the event of your cancellation after full payment has been made we will refund 50% of the cost of your cruise. In the event of our cancellation, for whatever reason, we will refund the whole cost of your cruise including the deposit. In this instance we declare no further liability for other costs you may have incurred in connection with your planned cruise. If you wish to change the dates of your cruise we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to other bookings. Bookings are for the whole boat, from 1 to 6 people. Payment of the deposit confirms your acceptance of these terms and conditions, and the acceptance of the other members of your party.
When on board, and in all matters to do with the boat and its tender, the skipper’s decision is final. You should realise that planned itineraries and timings are subject to change due to adverse weather. While we welcome social drinking, drunkeness on board will not be tolerated and anyone abusing this stipulation will be put ashore, forfeiting any right to a refund of cruise or public transport costs.
